REMEDIAL CENTRE

Clarendon Park has a Foundation Phase Remedial Department, as well as Grade 4 & 5 Academic support, and Grade 6 & 7 Extra Mathematics. Pupils who have learning barriers are identified by their class teacher, and are offered the opportunity to attend remedial classes. The aim of these lessons is to create a smaller environment where pupils are more relaxed and feel free to ask questions when the need arises. Each pupil’s self-worth is built up during these lessons, and they are encouraged to celebrate their strengths and work on their weaknesses.  This support will assist the pupils in building a solid foundation, which will help them pave the way for happiness and success at school and beyond.
