Clarendon Park After-care provides a safe and homely environment for 224 children. Each child is recorded on a schedule on arrival and marked out and in as they attend different sport activities.

 Our Grade 1 and 2 children are collected from the school and escorted to and collected from sport activities. Parents are required to sign for their children when collecting them. On arrival at the After-care, they are served a light meal such as – a hamburger, toasted sandwich or fish fingers and mash, etc.  A mid afternoon snack consists of biscuits and a fruit or sandwiches and a fruit.  These meals are provided by our two friendly ladies in the kitchen.

The After-care has 5 separate homework rooms.  Grade 1 and 2’s homework is done in pleasant surroundings which provides a comfortable atmosphere for these little ones. 

Grades 3 and 4 have their own room and grades 5 to 7 are accommodated in their own room.  These homework rooms have individual cubicles for each child which makes for better concentration. Homework is supervised by competent staff members.

Spacious play areas, with sandpits, jungle gyms, Wendy houses etc, are divided into different age groups and play continues under the watchful eye of the staff.

Holiday care takes place the first week before school starts in January, the first and last week of the June holidays and the week after school closes in December. The hours for holiday care are from 7:45 to 17:15.  Activities are done with the children and much fun is had by all.
