Clarendon Park Aftercare provides a safe and homely environment where the needs of the children are met.

Play areas are spacious and feature beautiful AstroTurf, jungle gyms, swings, sandpits and Wendy houses. For the children’s safety, playgrounds are divided into different age groups.  Play is supervised by staff members.

On arrival at the aftercare each child is marked in on a schedule.  If a child has a sports activity, the child is marked out on the same schedule and back in again on his/her return. This is to ensure that a child’s whereabouts is always known.

Every child is provided with their own locker in which to store their possessions. A light lunch is served in the dining area.  Lunch is made up of a hamburger, hotdog or something similar, together with a glass of juice.  Children can bring their own lunch if so preferred. Teatime snack is either biscuits or sandwiches and fruit.

Children change from their school uniform into comfortable clothing in which to play outside. Grade 1, 2, and 3 are escorted from school to the aftercare and to and from sport activities.

Homework is supervised by competent staff in comfortable classrooms which are set up with individual cubicles and tables.

When collecting their children, parents are required to sign for them. No child with be released to another person without the permission of the parent.

Aftercare hours are from 12:30 to 17:30.

Be assured that the aftercare staff will at all times have the best interest of your child at heart.
